Production Assistant (Temporary 2 months) Dublin CA 94568 (HQ)

Job Description

We are hiring a Production Assistant to be part of our manufacturing and operations team. Azure Biosystems, Inc is a life science company that develops and manufactures imaging equipment for basic research. We are headquartered in Dublin, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive deliveries from carrier (UPS, Fedex, DHL etc)
  • Inspect parts upon delivery from carriers
  • Prep all customer systems for shipment, including pulling equipment off the shelf, cleaning equipment, and packing equipment & accessories
  • Organize and maintain inventory and production area
  • May perform other duties as required by the Department

Job Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship
  • Able to lift, lower, push, and pull to handle up to 50 lb. boxes and supplies
  • PPE must always be worn onsite

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Comfortable with Outlook, Excel & Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility and desire to take on additional responsibilities
  • Communication with team members

Job Type & Schedule:

  • Length: 2 Months
  • Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Contract
  • Pay: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour
  • Start Date: November 9, 2020
